Delegations from nuclear emerging countries visited KAERI

A team of delegations from nuclear emerging countries such as Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Belarus, and the Ukraine visited KAERI on April 12. 
 

This program was organized by the Korea Nuclear Cooperation Foundation (KONICOF) in cooperation with the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Education (MEST) in order to facilitate a better understanding of nuclear activities in Korea.
 

They were briefed on KAERI research activities and discussed with KAERI staff members ways to promote nuclear cooperation as part of their plan to introduce nuclear program. 
 

As part of KAERI efforts to further deepen and diversify our international cooperation all across the globe, which are intended to establish a foundation for the exportation of nuclear technology, various efforts to establish cooperation networks with many countries, especially nuclear emerging countries in the Middle East, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa, has been made. 
 

They took a tour of HANARO research reactor.
